Mike retired from Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in 2019 as Director of Digital Forensics & Investigations/Cybersecurity. His 46 years of experience includes service as a field engineer and instructor in U.S. Army Secure Communications, NASA Mission Control development for the Space Shuttle and Space Station programs at the Johnson Space Center, and Information Security Management in the private sector traveling to numerous countries in Asia/South Pacific, Africa, South America, Middle East and Western Europe. Mike has served in various capacities for professional cybersecurity organizations and is an active member of the Houston FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association

Mike and his wife Lori have enjoyed the family lakehouse on Tonkawa since 1990. Following retirement, they became permanent residents in March 2021. They are outdoor enthusiasts and have volunteered with ministries serving young adults, the homeless and leading hiking adventures in Colorado. Mike is looking forward to serving his community with the other Board Members.
