PERSONAL
I have lived in Leon County my entire life except for the few years I lived and worked in Houston. I was raised in Normangee and spent many summers working at HTL for the original developer, Belin and Associates. Cathy and I met as teens working at HTL for the Belins. We have been married for
25 years. We have two daughters, a son and three grands. Both our daughters live out of state and Lance lives on the Hill. Cathy and I always knew we would make Hilltop Lakes our home.
EDUCATION
I graduated from Normangee H.S. in 1972 and at1ended South Texas Jr. College and Houston Community College, focusing on business courses. I earned my NREMT Certificate from Blinn College and hold a current Texas Real Estate license.
WORK EXPER1ENCE
From 1972 through 2009, I worked as a pipe welder for several companies and held various positions connected with the production of steel and steel products. I was employed by Nucor Steel Corp. from 1978 through 2009. Cathy and I started our Real Estate Company, Lagravier Real Estate in 1998.
COMMUNITY/ BOARD INVOLVEMENT
Cathy and I are both members of the Hilltop Lakes Chapel. I currently volunteer with the HTL VFD Firehouse Angels, and I served previously as an EMT volunteer. I have served on the Kickapoo Club Board and I am currently serving on our Lakes Committee, Marketing Committee and Lots Committee which has been very gratifying.
It is my desire and goal to see our great community grow, that's why I work diligently with the committees to see the Marketing plan become a reality. Growth for our community is essential for increased revenue. My goals are to continue the open communications and transparency lines started by our 2018 board and to work with these board members to create new amenities and to restore existing amenities. Our overall infrastructure needs updating and it is my intention to work with the other board members to restore our community to the profitable business it should be. It is my commitment to always approach all community issues with the best interest of I-ITL Resort first. If elected, I pledge to follow all ethical standards and guidelines in my commitment to serving all property owners.
