One winner per category will be awarded. The Grand Champion award requires a minimum of 3 categories and will be awarded. Have fun with your BBQ and Specialty Cooking. Your entry must be cooked at the event. You may set up Friday and start cooking by 5:30 am Saturday. You will have a designated area on the north side of the Community Center, on the grass. Your event begins with a brief meeting at 8:30 am at the DJ Booth. Then you will be given your containers to place your entries in. Individual items will be delivered to the DJ Booth, times TBD, in the provided container, in the specified order given at the meeting. Beans, Gumbo, Chili, BBQ Pork, BBQ Chicken, BBQ Beef, Judging Begins at 12:30 pm.

Competitors will compete without the use of their hands. Pre-registration will guarantee them a pie! A limited number of pies will be available. Day of the event candidates will need to pre-register with the DJ prior to the event. Registration will be accepted until we run out of the numbers of pies we have. 1st. and 2nd. and 3rd place will be awarded ribbons.
You may start on your pumpkin at 9:00 am and turn into the DJ when completed no later than 11:45 am. They will be awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons by category by a pre-selected group of judges at noon at the DJ Booth. Your categories are: Scariest, Most Creative. Age brackets: Under 10 years old, 11 & 13 Years old, 14 and older There will be a limited supply of pumpkins available. Pre-registration will reserve you a pumpkin of various size and texture. You may bring a fresh carved pumpkin from home to enter.
Judging entries must pre-register by Friday, October 25, noon. Categories: Creativity, how original and imaginative the costume is. Effort: The amount of work put into the costume. How well the costume represents the character or theme it's portraying. Winners will be awarded 1st., 2nd, 3rd place with ribbons, for each category.Time: TBA
Each team will need to report to the tennis courts by 9:00 am to acknowledge the tournament brackets. Ribbon Awards for first place.
