MISSION STATEMENT
TO PROMOTE, EDUCATE AND DEVELOP AN APPRECIATION OF THEATER AND DRAMA, WHILE PROVIDING WHOLESOME ENTERTAINMENT TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH AN ATMOSPHERE OF FUN AND FELLOWSHIP WHILE BRINGING CHEER, JOY AND HAPPINESS TO ALL WE TOUCH.
TROUPE OVER THE HILL has been part of the Hilltop Lakes community since 2009. We began this journey from conversations at the Texas shaped swimming pool with the ladies in the morning swim club. One thing led to another, and before you knew it we had a group going. We met at homes to begin organizing and dreaming. We brought in more and more people, along with more and more ideas. We are growing. We again plan to present two plays each year – one in the spring and another in the fall. We are active with other organizations to help provide entertainment for their group. Troupe is now a member of the Texas Non Profit Theaters, Inc. (TNT) We now own very flexible stage units, theatrical lights, a professional electric circuit box to control lights, many props, scenery back drops, curtains, a varied costume wardrobe and a growing library of scripts. Each and every one of you is invited to become an active participant in this production. There are so many different jobs, which need to be done in order to produce a successful evening of entertainment for our audiences. To name a few:
