2023 Election
Solicitation of Candidates
The Nominations and Elections Committee would like to announce that any property owner interested in becoming a candidate for the 2023 election for positions on the Board of Directors for the Property Owners’ Association of Hilltop Lakes, Inc. should complete the “Candidate Filing Form 2023” and the “Board of Directors Release” form.
Potential candidates may request the forms by calling the Welcome Center (936-855-2222) to request the forms be e-mailed or by picking them up at the Welcome Center during normal business hours.
Once completed and signed, the documents must be to the Welcome Center for submission to the Nominations and Elections Committee in any of the following ways: 1) in person at the Welcome Center, 2) via USPS (addressed to the Nominations & Elections Committee), or 3) scanned and e-mailed to adminassistant@hilltoplakes.com.
In order to be considered for candidacy, the forms must be received by Welcome Center staff no later than 5 p.m., September 8, 2023.

NOMINATIONS AND ELECTION SCHEDULE
- AUGUST 1 – Mail in Ballots may be requested online or by calling the Welcome Center. All mail in Ballots MUST be received by the Post Office no later than 12pm on Election Day.
- AUGUST 9 – Filing forms are available for pickup at the Welcome Center and Announcement posted.
- SEPTEMBER 8 – Deadline for turning in filing forms (5pm) at the Welcome Center, Election notification postcards mailed to Property Owners.
- SEPTEMBER 15 – Candidate Draw for Ballot Positions
- SEPTEMBER 30 – First Candidate Forum at 2pm in the Community Center
- OCTOBER 21 – Second Candidate Forum at 6pm in the Community Center
- NOVEMBER 18 – Early Voting (9am-3pm) at the Community Center
- NOVEMBER 25 – Deadline for Mail in Ballot Request (5pm)
- DECEMBER 2 – ELECTION DAY (8am-6pm) Walk in Voting at the Community Center
- DECEMBER 9 – Annual Meeting of the Members at 10am in the Tonkawa Room
