Golf | Guidelines

All members and guest must sign-in before starting play. Property owner cards must be shown at time of sign-in registration. Private carts must be registered and decal number noted on sign-in sheet. Property Owners must be current on their maintenance fees or they will be denied play.

Personal carts must be registered with a trail fee sticker on it to be on the Golf Course.

Property Owners in Sections 1, 2, 3A, 3B, 4, 5, 7 and 26 who bring guests at no cost, must play with their guests. This effectively limits a property owner to 3 free guests, unless the Pro Shop approves a fivesome.

Active duty Military persons can play golf free if playing as a guest with a property owner.

The Pro Shop does not allow children under the age of 13 on the golf course, putting green, or driving range without adult supervision or permission from Pro Shop.

Each player must have his own bag and clubs.

Please limit golf cart to two adult riders. You must have a valid driver's license to drive all golf carts. 

All Players must start on #1 Tee unless given permission by Pro Shop.

No more than foursomes unless given permission by Pro Shop.
On weekends and Holidays no fivesomes are allowed before 12:00 pm.; after 12:00 pm only with permission by Pro Shop.

If the hole ahead of you is open, please be courteous and let faster players play through.

 

REPLACE DIVOTS - REPAIR BALL MARKS - RAKE BUNKERS

Prior to play, check at Pro Shop for special play rules, i.e. carts must stay on cart path, 90 degree rule in effect and return golf cart to cart path as soon as practical, use temporary tees, restricted areas, etc.

KEEP GOLF CARTS AND PULL CARTS THIRTY YARDS (OR BEHIND MARKERS) FROM GREENS AND OFF TEE AREAS UNLESS YOU ARE ON THE CONCRETE CART PATH.

When fairways are closed by the golf course superintendent due to abnormal ground condition, ALL carts must remain on cart path. When "Keep Carts on Path" signs are posted carts shall not travel on fairways.

 

KEEP CARTS ON PATH AROUND THE GREENS

Rental carts must be driven on golf course only. Keys must be returned to Pro Shop.

Players are encouraged to share carts, i.e. threesomes and foursomes use only two carts ,and twosomes use only one cart.

No practicing on golf course.

Golf course is closed at dusk.

Please respect the rights and privacy of our home owners when retrieving balls. Please remember that you could be held responsible for damage to private property.

No walking on Golf Course during Pro Shop hours.

No riding bicycles on Golf Course.

No fishing on Golf Course during Pro Shop hours.

No pets on Golf Course during Pro Shop hours.

The front nine or back nine will be closed each Tuesday to allow golf course maintenance to work on the nine holes.

Trash containers should be used to dispose of trash on the golf course.

 

DRIVING RANGE

ALWAYS HIT RANGE BALLS FROM WHERE THE BAG STANDS ARE LOCATED. WHEN MATS ARE BEING USED AND IF ALL MATS ARE OCCUPIED, WAIT UNTIL A MAT IS VACATED TO HIT RANGE BALLS. SAND YOUR DIVOTS BEFORE LEAVING DRIVING RANGE.

The Property Owners' Association of Hilltop Lakes, Inc has approved these rules. Please be advised that Golf Course Personnel have the authority to enforce them. Anyone refusing to adhere to their directions will be in violation and players who persist in violating rules will be referred to the Board of Directors for action to include suspension of privileges.

Proper golf attire is required on the golf course:

MEN:

Shirts with collar and sleeves 
Mock turtle necks with sleeves
Slacks or shorts, neat in appearance

Not Allowed:

Overalls, cutoffs, coveralls, bathing suits
Torn or ripped jeans, muscle shirts or tank tops.

LADIES:

Shirts with collar and sleeves preferred
Skirts, slacks or shorts neat in appearance

Not Allowed: Cut offs, bathing suits, halter tops, spaghetti straps, bare midriff, torn or ripped jeans.
FOOTWEAR: 

Golf shoes with soft spikes
Tennis type shoes with cushion soles

Not Allowed: Golf shoes with metal spikes
